Indigenous Medical Specialist Outreach Assistance Program

In 2007 the NSW Rural Doctors Network (RDN) was funded by the Office for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health (OATSIH) to increase medical specialist outreach to rural Aboriginal communities. The Indigenous Medical Specialist Outreach Assistance Program (ISOAP) now funds 40 separate services. Medical registrars are also supported under this program.
