Conferences/GP Education
The NSW Rural Doctors Network (RDN) coordinates a number of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) conferences throughout the year for rural GPs and their families. CPD involves clinical lectures, workshops and discussion groups, as well as other lifestyle topics, such as financial management, doctor's health and family wellbeing.
Conferences are mostly held in attractive holiday style locations, with comprehensive children and spouse programs. The RDN also runs specific procedural medicine conferences on anaesthetics, obstetrics and GP surgery, which do not cater for families.
